Our driving force to successful quality care is safeness of our care and the safety of our clients. We shall ensure this by being proactive and positive in our care planning and delivery and maintaining a culture based on openness and honesty. Safety concerns will be listened to, safety events will be investigated and reported thoroughly, and any such experience shall form a base for lessons to be learnt to continually identify and embed good practices in care provision.

Our work will be strongly guided by Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 Regulation 13, on which our Safeguarding Policy is based. We will ensure that our Clients, their family and other carers understand what being safe means to them and the best way to achieve this. We shall focus on working with Clients all concern to deliver improved lives while protecting people’s right to live in safety, free from bullying, harassment, abuse, discrimination, avoidable harm and neglect. We will make sure that all concerns are quickly and appropriately shared.
To manage risk needs the involvement of all members of the multidisciplinary team and all stakeholders and to understand that managing risks requires holistic thinking and actions so that care needs can be met in a way that safety and supportive care assures clients independent living.
We will actively look for and identify all potential risks and control them in the care environment. We shall make sure that equipment, facilities and technology do not pose harm to Clients but to support safe delivery of care.
We shall ensure the quality and numbers of staffing in delivering safe and supportive care by engaging enough qualified, skilled and experienced people into our workforce, including giving effective support, supervision, continuous training and professional development. For all staff to work together effectively to provide safe care that meets people’s individual needs is paramount to us.
All the risks of infection will be continuously assessed, monitored and controlled at every point in care and support delivery. We will detect and control the risk of any infection spreading and share any concerns with appropriate agencies promptly.
We will make sure that prescribed medicines and our medicines administration and treatments are safe and meet Client’s needs and capacities. Any preferences shall be referred to GP for the reason of appropriateness and safety. Clients will be informed if and when changes occur and will be involved in any planning to manage those changes.
To maximize the effectiveness of Clients’ care and treatment we will be continuously assessing, reviewing and updating the implementation of their support with them in relation to their health, care, wellbeing and communication needs.
We plan and will deliver Clients’ care and treatment in consultation with them and their consent, including what is important and what matters to them. We will do this in line with legislation and current evidence-based good practice and standards.
We will work effectively across teams and services to support our Clients. We will ensure continuity of care by sharing appropriate care assessment and support needs when they move between different services.

We will routinely monitor and audit Clients’ care and treatment to continuously improve it. We will ensure that outcomes are positive and consistent, and that they meet both clinical expectations and Clients’ expectations.
Clients’ right to consent to care and treatment is important in delivering successful care and we will tell our Clients about their rights regarding consent and respect, when we deliver person-centered care and treatment.

We are led by a Director who is a trained Psychiatric Nurse with a Degree in Health Science and Masters in Social Policy and Administration. His first and Second Degrees’ researches covered community care. He has set up inclusive leadership at all levels who understand the context in which we must deliver care, treatment and support and that which embody the culture and values we espouse to. They have the skills, knowledge, experience and credibility to lead effectively. They do so with integrity, openness and honesty.
